I began my jewelry making as a child stringing love beads on fishing line. Much later on I taught myself the peyote stitch and created medicine bags. However found that I needed another form to create with. Gold and silver called. I signed  myself up for classes at the Frog Hollow Craft School for the basics and since then have taken other courses (including Keum Boo, and chain making) at the League of NH Craftsman and the Metalwerx studio in Boston.

 

I am drawn to the luster of gold and silver. Opposites, yet complimentary – Moon and Sun. I have created simple designs that reflect the forces of nature—snow, rain and wind and strive to make unique textured creations.

 

Recently I have been made a partner at the Artisan’s Gallery in Waitsfield, VT. My work is available for purchase at the gallery.
